Class 3-E of the Kunugigaoka Junior High School is just your ordinary school classroom with its students of many backgrounds. The only difference between them and the rest of the schools is that they have become a government-contracted killer group to assassinate their one sole target...their homeroom teacher. Koro-sensei, the teacher, is a yellow, octopus-like creature who had destroyed a full 70% of Earth's moon in an instant. He then claims he will do the same to Earth within a year and make an offer to the governments of the world, make him the teacher of Class 3-E while Class 3-E has to kill him within the year limit before he destroys Earth. Koro-sensei has already escaped the governments many attempts to assassinate him due to his various powers, the prominent one being his maximum speed reaching Mach 20, its now only up to what Class 3-E can do to avert the terrible fate that awaits Earth...

An OVA was first produced by Studio Brain's Base in 2013 for the series prior to the television version. The first season started airing on January 2015 and ending on June with 22 episodes. A second season has been slated for release on January of 2016.
