Daily Life with a Monster Girl or Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (モンスター娘のいる日常 Monsutā Musume no Iru Nichijō) is an ongoing anime series airing since July 7, 2015.
The story follows an Japanese Student named Kimihito Kurusu, also known as "Darling" by his housemate Mia, his housemate is a Lamia (a half-human/snake species), and his housemate loves him very much so, much to his chagrin. Three years before his time, the government enacted the "Interspecies Cultural Exchange Act", which publicized the existence of mythical creatures such as harpies, centaurs, mermaids and such. To encourage assimilation into society, exchange programs are made for these creatures to live with ordinary families. Ms. Smith, one of the interspecies exchange coordinator, "accidentally" drops of Mia at his house. Now Kurusu must take responsibility to caring for Mia without 1. Breaking any Interspecies Exchange Laws, 2. Falling for seduction methods by his housemates, 3. Dying.
