Rossi Model 971
Highway Patrol Officer Thomas Burke (Michael Landes) carries a Rossi Model 971 as his off-duty weapon. Eugene Dix (Terrence 'T.C.' Carson) use it to try commit suicide, but all six rounds turn out to be duds.
