Mad Max: Fury Road is the fourth film in the Mad Max film series and the first to star Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky. In the film, Max becomes involved with Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) as she attempts to flee from a tyrannical warlord after liberating his captive "breeders" - young women whom he holds prisoner to make him new followers. Unlike previous films in the series, where firearms were a scarce commodity and rarely used, this sequel features a large number of firearms that are used liberally by many of the characters.
The following weapons were used in the film Mad Max: Fury Road:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS Inox
During the final chase sequence, Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) draws and fires a Beretta 92FS Inox at Max (Tom Hardy) when he is in the People Eater's (John Howard) tanker truck.
Browning Hi-Power Mark II
One of the weapons Max obtains after killing the Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) is a Browning Hi-Power Mark II, which he keeps as a his personal sidearm for the rest of the film. In the final chase sequence, he fires it as the Repair Boy Slit (Josh Helman) from the War Rig.
Colt Anaconda
One of Immortan Joe's personal sidearms is a Colt Anaconda, which he brandishes at the climaxes of the film's initial and final chase sequences.
Colt Single Action Army
Both Immortan Joe and his son Rictus Erectus (Nathan Jones) carry Colt Single Action Army revolvers with 5.5" Artillery barrels, engraved stainless steel bodies, and ivory grips as personal sidearms. Near the end of the second chase sequence, Joe gives his Single Action Army to the young War Boy Nux (Nicholas Hoult), who drops it shortly after boarding the War Rig in an attempt to recapture it and the Five Wives. The Bullet Farmer (Richard Carter) has four Single Action Armies - one pair in holsters strapped to his upper arms, and another pair with adjustable rear sights and 12" Buntline Special barrels. He uses the latter in his search for the War Rig in the Green Place during the second chase sequence, firing them haphazardly into the dark.
Colt M1911A1
Shortly after the start of the film's final chase sequence, Slit fires a Colt M1911A1 from Max's stolen and repurposed V8 Interceptor.
Glock 17
One of the weapons in the War Rig's arsenal is a Glock 17, kept hidden behind two ornamental skulls along its trailer. It is used by Max, Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), and one of Immortan Joe's wives, Toast the Knowing (Zoë Kravitz), for most of the film. In some scenes, it is portrayed as either a 2nd Generation or 3rd Generation model, indicating that two distinct, nonidentical props were used for the film.
Luger P08
Another weapon kept on the War Rig is a Luger P08, which Max uses it near the end of the initial chase sequence to shoot at several Rock Riders and some of Immortan Joe's War Boys as they give pursuit.
Mauser C96
Another weapon Max confiscates while on the War Rig is a Mauser C96. The People Eater carries a C96 as his personal weapon and tries to shoot Max with it during the final chase, only for the latter to disarm him of it.
Taurus PT99AF
Imperator Furiosa's personal sidearm is a blued Taurus PT99AF. Max confiscates it after he joins her and the Five Wives on the War Rig.
Webley Mk. VI
A Webley Mk. VI is included among the War Rig's arsenal. Furiosa uses it to fend off attacking Rock Riders and Immortan Joe towards the climax of the initial chase sequence.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
After being blinded by Furiosa in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer wields two Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs with Brügger & Thomet folding stocks and Walther PS22 red-dot sights.
IMI Uzi
While searching for the War Rig in the Green Place, the Bullet Farmer switches to an IMI Uzi with a wooden stock after his Single Action Armies run out of ammo.
Sten Mk. II
After the Rock Riders use dynamite to keep the war parties of the Citadel, Bullet Farm, and Gas Town from passing through the canyon, one of Immortan Joe's War Boys can be seen with what appears to be a Sten Mk. II submachine gun.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
Miss Giddy (Jennifer Hagen), the elderly Wordburger and caretaker of the Five Wives, threatens Immortan Joe with a full-length 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun after he realizes she has helped Furiosa smuggle them out of the Citadel.
Sawed-off double-barrel shotgun
In a homage to the original Mad Max trilogy, the famed sawed-off double-barrel shotgun makes an appearance at one point in the film. It is first used by Nux as his personal weapon when pursuing the War Rig, and later by Max to threaten Furiosa and the Five Wives after Nux's car is destroyed in the sandstorm. It is then dropped in the subsequent fight between Max and Furiosa and, sadly, never used again.
Rifles
SKS
An SKS variant rifle is another weapon wielded by Furiosa (Charlize Theron). This SKS has a lug for the fixed bayonet but lacks the bayonet itself (as well as the cleaning rod), has two top attachment rails and a wooden grip extension (presumably to allow Furiosa to better hold the weapon with her mechanical left hand) affixed beneath the forestock.
During the attack by the Road Riders, Furiosa empties the rifle (oddly, after firing only 4-5 rounds from a 10-round capacity magazine), then shoves it at Angharad (Rosie Huntington-Whitely), who either doesn't have a clue how to reload it or else is too distracted by going into labor, before it is seized by Toast the Knowing (Zoë Kravitz), who does.
At one point, the weapon is additionally seen fitted with a telescopic sight.
Rossi M92 .357 Lever Action
A Rossi .357 lever action is used by Valkyrie (Megan Gale), one of the Vuvalini, to shoot at Immortan Joe's Gigahorse vehicle.
Flintlock Rifle
Keeper of the Seeds, one of the Vuvalini, wields what appears to be a Flintlock rifle. This is also seen in the hands of Max.
Assault Rifles
AKM
The Bullet Farmer uses a presumably nickel-plated AKM in an attempt to flush out the location of the War Rig in the Green Place swamplands.
Machine Guns
RPD Light Machine Gun
What appears to be an RPD Light Machine Gun is mounted on The People Eater's modified limousine.
Other
M79 Grenade Launcher
What appears to be an M79 Grenade Launcher modified with a foregrip and a pistol grip is used by one of the men accompanying Furiosa.
Webley & Scott Signal Pistol
A Webley & Scott No. 1 Mk. III* Signal Pistol is seen among Furiosa's weapons confiscated by Max. Furiosa later is seen using it.
Automatic Weapon
Rictus Erectus (Nathan Jones) also is seen wielding a weapon that resembles an automatic shotgun. The weapon is fitted with a drum magazine that resembles such weapons as the AA-12.
