The following guns were used in the film Max Payne (2008):
Beretta 92FS
Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) uses a Beretta 92FS as his main sidearm in the film.
Taurus Judge
Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) carries a Taurus 4510 Judge revolver in 410 Gauge and .45 Long Colt as his backup gun in the film. The gun's ultimate power is grossly misinterpreted, since Hollywood sees this as simply a "shotgun revolver", when infact the .45 Long Colt it fires has more effective stopping power than the birdshot rounds it typically fires (based on the shot pattern left by the gun in the film, it is assumed he uses birdshot). In both scenes it is seen firing, it inaccurately fires six shots when the cylinder only holds five.
Charter Arms Undercover
A Charter Arms Undercover hammerless is seen on the table when Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) is cleaning and loading his guns. It is assumed he keeps this as an ankle gun, but this is the only instance it is seen in the film.
SIG-Sauer P226R
Lincoln DeNeuf (Jamie Hector) uses a SIG-Sauer P226R as his sidearm. When he is killed by Mona Sax (Mila Kunis), she gives the gun to Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg), who uses it when confronting BB Hensley (Beau Bridges) on the roof.
Flintlock Muskets and pistols
Heckler & Koch MP5KA4
The Heckler & Koch MP5K appears in the movie as the weapon of choice for Mona Sax (Mila Kunis). It's most often seen with a 15-round magazine. During the climax of the movie, Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) begins his assault with two of these guns. In the ending credits, we see a CGI rendering of this. BB is seen with this gun at the end of the film.
H&K G36C
Seen in the hands of a guard in the warehouse with a red dot sight. He fires it at Max and then Max doges it by doing the shootdodge scene with the Mossberg Shotgun
H&K MP5A3
Seen in the hands of the SWAT team that Max faced off.
M4A1
The corrupted SWAT team that responded to BB's call used these among their shotguns and MP5s. Regular NYPD units also used is seen with this rifle later in the film.
L1A1 SLR
An L1A1 SLR is seen carried by a thug. The rifle is an L1A1, judging by the handguards, front sights and flash hider.
MP-40
When Mona goes to visit the Jamacian crime boss Lincoln, one of his guards is armed with an MP40 submachinegun.
SIG SG 552
SG 552 carbines are carried by several Aesir Corporation bodyguards in the movie.
H&K UMP
Seen in the hands of Aesir guards at the end of the film.
Mossberg 590
A full length Mossberg 590 shotgun is fired by SWAT during a shootout with Max Payne in the Aesir building.
-Is it just me, or does the vest of the "cop" at the right in the last picture actually say Aesir on the back?
- I do see it. Weird cause on their shoulders, the patches say New York City Police Excalibur01 20:14, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Mossberg 500
A Mossberg 500 shotgun is used by Max Payne when he is attacked by security in the Aesir Pharmaceuticals building.
Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser
Shown on the front cover of film. Used when Max Payne is checking out the warehouse.
- Like I had assumed after watching the trailer, it is a Winchester 1300 with a pistol grip. - Gunmaster45
IMI Tavor TAR-21
Seen used by one of Lupino's men in the valkire storage room in Ragnarok.
FN F2000
One of Lupino's men is armed with an FN F2000 rifle.
Smith and Wesson model 36
The leader of the junkies pulls one on Payne before Payne disarms him of it and throws it in the bathroom sink.
- Looks more like a spurred hammer Colt Detective special. - Gunmaster45
Glock 17/22
While Max is hallucinating in the Aesir building, one Aesir guard sneaks up to Max with a Glock and tries to gun him down. But the guard himself is then gundown by Mona.
