19-2 is a French-Canadian police procedural series set in the city of Montreal. Its English adaptation goes by the same name, but with English pronunciation. The series centres around Agent Nick Berrof (Nick Barron in the English version) of the Service Police Metropolitan (a fictitious representation of the Service de Police de la Ville de Montreal) and his partner Agent Ben Chartier, a transfer from the Surete du Quebec, the provincial police force.
