Dumb and Dumber is a 1994 buddy comedy feature that stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as dim-witted friends who embark on a road trip to return a briefcase to a woman, not knowing that the briefcase contains ransom money. The film would spawn an animated series, the 2003 prequel Dumb and Dumberer, as well as the 2014 direct sequel Dumb and Dumber To.
The following weapons were used in the film Dumb and Dumber:
Colt Python
J.P. Shay (Karen Duffy), one of the kidnappers, carries a Colt Python with a four inch barrel throughout the film.
Walther PP
Nick (Charles Rocket) uses a Walther PP to threaten Lloyd, Harry, and Mary.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) fires all six shots from the Smith & Wesson Model 10 (given to him by the FBI) at Nick, missing each one. Special Agent Beth Jordan (Victoria Rowell) also carries a Model 10, as does Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) in his daydream.
Colt Official Police
Detective Dale (Felton Perry) bursts into Harry and Lloyd's room in Aspen armed with a Colt Official Police.
Beretta 92FS
Most of the FBI agents carry Beretta 92FS pistols, despite the FBI not being issued these in real life.
