Michael Sheard (born June 18th, 1938) was a Scottish actor well known to Star Wars fans for his role as the ill-fated Admiral Ozzel in The Empire Strikes Back. Sheard also portrayed various German officers in various World War II films throughout his career. He even portrayed Adolf Hitler on five productions made in and around the UK, including The Dirty Dozen: Next Mission and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Sheard died of cancer on August 31st, 2005, in Hampshire, England.
