Makarov is a 1993 Russian thriller directed by Vladimir Khotinenko and starring Sergey Makovetskiy as Aleksandr Makarov, a talented poet who once illegally purchases a Makarov pistol. Soon the poet finds out that the pistol has a strange power over his minds and behavior.
