District B13 is a French Action film, released overseas under the name Banlieue 13. There are 55 distinct weapons used in this film.

The following guns appeared in this movie:

Handguns

Beretta M92F

Error creating thumbnail: File missing
Montoyas' guard fires a Beretta M92F (note pointed trigger guard and ambidextrous safety) - 9mm

Beretta M93R Auto 9

  • Seen during the fight in the gambling den, one of Montoyas' men fires a full auto pistol that strongly resembles the pistol used by RoboCop and also used in Underworld: Evolution. Most likely a Beretta M93R with a custom extended front end, though this is an educated guess based on general shape and usage in other movies.

In a fight with Tomaso, one of Montoyas' guards fires a Beretta M93R Auto 9 in full automatic fire - 9mm

IMI Desert Eagle

Another one of Montoyas' guards reloads his Desert Eagle - exact model and caliber unknown

Ruger KP94DC

Along with his Baby Eagle 9mm, Taha also keeps a Ruger KP94DC 9mm handgun ( a stainless steel model of the Ruger P94 fitted with a decocker) that 's fitted with a small laser pointer right in front of the trigger guard as one of his personal pistols. It's later taken by Leito and used for the rest of the film.

Ruger KP94DC - 9mm
Error creating thumbnail: File missing
Tahas' personal pistol and later taken by Leïto is a Ruger KP94DC (2 tone decocker) with a small laser mounted to the front of the trigger guard - 9mm

Sig Sauer P220 Pistols

  • Tomaso grabs a pair of Sig Pistols during a fight. The full size and large aperture of the barrel would indicate a big caliber like a .45 acp, so the assumption is that they are P220s.
Error creating thumbnail: File missing
Tomaso fires two Sig Sauer P220 pistols - .45acp

SIG P228 pistol

  • Since the SIG pistols are supposedly stolen from the French National police, they should be SIG Pro SP 2022 or 2009 pistols, but they are probably Sig P228 pistols since they don't have the integral rail of the 2022 or the 2009 pistols used by the French.

Leïto carries a stolen Sig Pistol, most similar to a P228 - 9mm

Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 Pistol

Both Gangster K2 (Tony D'Amario) and Heroine Lola (Dany Verissimo) use Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 Pistols (.45 acp).

Lola angrily points her Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0 pistol at a smart mouthed gangster. She then removes her thong panties and makes him eat them at gunpoint, prompting her hostage (the Gangleader Taha) to quip "My kind of girl"...

Glock 18

  • Captain Damien Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli) uses a pair of Glock 18s fitted with 33 round magazines to destroy Gangster Montoya's prized automobile.

Captain Damien Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli) fire a pair of Glock 18s akimbo style, dumping both 33 round magazines into Montoya's prized car - 9mm

Glock 32

  • Elite French Police Captain Damien Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli) uses a Glock 32 - chambered for .357 sig. Since Glocks all look alike the only reference to this caliber is a French language article which mentions the actor using a 357 pistol. Since the character never touches a revolver or a Desert Eagle, and that this is a French movie with a French Armorer, I am assuming that his Glock is a Model 32.
File:B13 Glock32.jpg
Damien Tomaso points a Glock 32 - 357 sig

Glock 33

  • Though Tomasos' pistol is supposed to be a compact G32 in some of the scenes he seems to be firing a subcompact Glock. Since he is using the same ammunition (in the movie) it should be the Subcompact Glock 33.

Damien Tomaso fires his Glock 33 out a door slot - 357 sig

Taurus PT92 (Nickel plated)

  • Used by the horrifying Carlos Montoya, who looks more like a character out of Sin City than a French underworld Boss, carries what looks to be a nickel plated Taurus PT92.

Wieger STG2000C (Incorrect - Chinese Type 56C)

This is a Chinese type 56C weapon. The STG2000C does not have the dimples over the magazine nor a cleaning rod or bayonet under the barrel. Also, chinese weapons have enclosed front sights. The STG2000C's front sight is more open than that.

Though one may think it is a German (formerly East German) Mpi-KMS-72 it is not, nor is it an AK104. It is the current European commercial variant of the Wieger STG-940. The STG-940 was built between 1980-1988. The 940 was the 7.62x39mm version and the 942 was the 5.56mm Version) This version is a heavily modified version of the new STG-2000. There is an American import model with a 16" barrel and a full stock. The European version of the STG-2000C has an m16 birdcage flash hider right in front of the gas block (12" Barrel) and an East German AK style side folding stock. The version in the film has removed the German Wieger fore-end (which made it difficult to identify) and replaced the M16 Style flash hider with a traditional AK muzzle nut. The movie gun's Wieger foregrip was replaced with traditional AK Black Synthetic foregrip furniture (which is non-standard on the Wieger commercial rifles).

AKS-74U

AKS-74U Underfolder (?!?!)

  • Yes, one of the henchmen holds a AKS-74U style of weapon with a 5.45x39mm magazine (!) but it has an Underfolding stock. It was probably a 5.45mm underfolding AK that was chopped down by an armorer and had the Krinkov front end installed. There are lots of weird custom jobs in the movie gun world, and 'Frankenstein guns' appear from time to time.

Note: Before the last server crash, someone posted here what sort of gun it was. That information was lost when the page reverted to the last version. If that user is still on IMFDB, I would appreciate them posting again, what type of weapon they thought it was. Thanks MoviePropMaster2008 21:57, 23 November 2008 (UTC) -With the waffle magazine and the underfolding stock, it could possibly be the 7.62x39mm AR-SF produced by Arsenal of Bulgaria.-Markit

It's not a 7.62x39mm gun. Look at the magazine. It's either a 5.45 or a 5.56 magazine. MPM

Colt Model 733

  • Actually a "733 looking gun". Being a French film and the fact that French Armorers always do strange things with their guns, we see what looks like a Colt Model 733 Short barreled Assault rifle. However the barrel looks a little too long to be the 11" for the real 733 and too short to be the 14" for the 653, so it seems to be an intermediate length barrel (which means it's a custom barrel job from a real M16 carbine). It is seen briefly when Taha's men storm out of the building.

As the camera tracks backwards, we see more of this unidentified firearm.

Front sight reminds me of an Uzi, the rest is a bit reminiscent of a UMP. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's an Uzi with a rail above the charging handle. It could also be a SPAS12 with the stock folded.

Why would anyone put a rail on the top of an Uzi when that's where the charging handle is? How would one rack a round into the chamber if a rail was covering the handle? Thanks for the suggestion though. I checked against my Uzi and My SPAS and it isn't either one of those. So I'm still stumped. :) MoviePropMaster2008 03:42, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
  • it can be a franchi PA3, a shorted version of the franchi PA8 and spas 12 series

Machine Guns

M240B

  • M240Bs are used at gangland checkpoints and are also mounted on pickup trucks during a chase through the city. Being Europe these are most likely FN MAGs outfitted to look like M240B Machine guns (which have features that were requested by the U.S. Military).
