Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
Taken 3 is the third and final installment in the Taken film trilogy. Liam Neeson returns as former CIA operative Bryan Mills, who discovers he's been framed for murder and must evade both the authorities as well as the mobsters intent on killing him. Luc Besson returns as Co-Writer/Executive Producer and Oliver Megaton, the director of Taken 2, returns to helm the 2015 sequel.
The following weapons were used in the film Taken 3:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is seen with a Beretta 92FS in the film. This has been his signature weapon throughout the series. He is seen with a 92FS a few times in the film, prominently during the climax.
SIG-Sauer P226
Although the Beretta 92FS is the main pistol seen in the series, Bryan Mills wields a West German SIG-Sauer P226 throughout the film. It is one of two guns that he keeps hidden in his rabbit hole. Several other West German P226s are seen in the film in use by Russian thugs. There are also a couple American P226s seen with accessory rails and milled slides that are also used by the Russians. Although Bryan uses the Glock 17 for most of the film, he also uses the SIG for some time. This is strange, since only one P226 has been seen in the whole series, and that was very briefly in the first movie. This is probably because the film took place in America, unlike the last two, which had different armorers. A P226 is even seen on several of the film's posters.
Beretta 90Two
The Beretta 90Two is seen used as the main weapon by most of the Russian thugs.
Beretta 92A1
Like the 90Two, the Beretta 92A1 is the other main weapon of the Russian thugs.
Glock 17
LAPD officers appear to be armed with the Glock 17. Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is seen loading a Glock 17 as well. Multiple people in this film are seen with Glocks, most of them second generation models. Bryan uses Glock 17s that he takes from cops for almost the whole film.
Springfield Armory 1911A1 TRP Operator
Near the film's end in the climax, Bryan Mills takes a .45-caliber TRP Operator Springfield Armory 1911 with an accessory rail, full length barrel and stainless muzzle, raised target sights, front slide serrations, ambidextrous safety, target three-hole ring trigger and skeletonized hammer from a Russian thug and uses it throughout the rest of the film.
Note: This may be a Para-Ordnance 1911, as Para-Ordnance supplied some weapons for the film.
Browning Hi-Power Mark III
A Browning Hi-Power Mark III is seen used by several people in the film, including Bernie (David Warshofsky).
Steyr M9A1
Brian retrieves a Steyr M9A1 from his rabbit hole and uses it throughout the film. It is likely that this is the very same Steyr that Brian used in the second film.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
LAPD officers on several occasions are seen with Mossberg 500 shotguns, some equipped with heat shields and extended magazine tubes.
Benelli M4 NFA
Also used is a Benelli M4 NFA shotgun.
Rifles
AK-47
What appears to be an older model AK-47 or AKM is used by a Mujahideen soldier in a flashback to the Soviet-Afghan war. Some more Kalashnikovs are seen in other flashbacks.
AKMS
Some gunmen are armed with the AKMS.
FN SCAR-L STD
Oleg Malankov (Sam Spruell) is seen with a FN SCAR-L STD during a shootout. He appears to have multiple spare magazines attached to the rifle.
Noveske N4 Diplomat
Some of the Russian thugs are seen using Noveske N4 Diplomat assault rifles.
SIG SG 550 SR
A SIG SG 550 SR sniper rifle is held by Oleg Malankov while he playfully aims at ladies playing tennis.
Submachine Guns
Brügger & Thomet APC9
The Brügger & Thomet APC9 is used by several of Oleg's men.
TDI / KRISS USA Vector SMG
One of Oleg's men uses a TDI Vector.
Machine Guns
RPD
A Soviet RPD light machine gun is briefly seen on the Russian weapons table in a flashback.
