:Tripwire Interactive has done a lot with regards to small touches of realism. Apparently automatic weapons in HoS that can overheat will overheat more slowly in winter maps, for instance. --[[User:Mazryonh|Mazryonh]] ([[User talk:Mazryonh|talk]]) 23:18, 12 March 2015 (EDT)

Revision as of 03:18, 13 March 2015

Screenshots are too monotonous right now.

Sure, showing the guns from games in detail through their various animations is enough to meet the requirements on this wiki, but taking all your screenshots on the same level/map all the time without any other characters in view gets boring VERY fast. I know the game is currently in beta right now, but is there any chance you could go to a bot server and take some shots of the weapons in action being used against bots (or unattentive players on populated servers)? That would be much more interesting to look at. --Mazryonh (talk) 20:19, 22 May 2013 (EDT)

This page looks like it's been dead for a while. Now that the game's out of beta and with the recent Island Assault update, can we clean up the page? I've been taking some screencaps of the guns in action during matches, but do we really need images for melee attacks, brass checks, behind cover and blindfiring?. --Bleepbloop47406 (talk) 22:48, 25 January 2014 (EST)

Other pages have things like brass checks and the like. I myself added bayonet attack animations (but against actual NPCs) for one of the pages I contributed to. But it would be best if these screenshots were made during actual gameplay against actual players or bots, across a variety of levels and environments.--Mazryonh (talk) 10:27, 27 January 2014 (EST)

Pretty realistic

I was browsing my screenshot library today, and just found this. Look at the broken bolt of the rifle on the ground. As far as gaming and weapons go, this one is even more realistic than I thought. --Warejaws (talk) 08:25, 12 March 2015 (EDT)
