Dying Light is a sequel to Dead Island, a first-person zombie sandbox game. This time an outbreak occurs in the fictional Turkish city of Harran. Firearms are even rarer than in the previous games but there are a few. Models are detailed enough to have engraved trades but they make reference to fictional firearms developers based in Harran.

The "German 9mm Pistol" is based on the P228.

The "American 9mm Pistol" is similar to several pistols but none American.
