Timecop Custom Assault Pistol

This Custom Assault Pistol is an unusual customized submachine gun-style weapon first used in the 1994 film Timecop. There has been much speculation about this weapon, which has not yet been definitely been indentified. The speculation is that these weapons were created because unable to be imported into the U.S. as a result of the Assault Weapon Ban of 1994. Some have opined that these are custom built firearms or just dressed-up Kimel AP-9 pistols. The film was made in Vancouver, Canada, thus these custom firearms subsequently appear in film and television series produced in the same region, including the film Rumble in the Bronx and series such as The X-Files, Smallville and Stargate: Atlantis. These weapons are of an unknown variant.
