: I looked again, and now I can swear that the first pistol isn't an FN 1903 but a Ruby. Let's compare:

First, FN 1903 has a distinctive feature, a lever on the right side of the frame below the slide. The screen pistol lacks it. Second, the barrel of the screen pistol is definitely shorter. And third, the slide serration isn't straight but semicircular. So we can see that the screen pistol isn't a Model 1903, but all its features perfectly match Ruby pistols. As there was several dozens of versions of Ruby, produced by various manufacturers, it's hard to define the exact model but it's Ruby-type without doubt. Aren't both pistols the same? Looks like one of Star Ruby Pistol family. Greg-Z (talk) 14:12, 25 November 2014 (EST)

I was about to say the same thing. Some knockoff Colt Model 1903/1908. I was researching them while doing the page for Mission: Impossible - Season 1. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:13, 25 November 2014 (EST)
Sorry, there are two different pistols (note the different shape of the grip), but both look like Ruby. Greg-Z (talk) 14:16, 25 November 2014 (EST)

The screen pistol

First, FN 1903 has a distinctive feature, a lever on the right side of the frame below the slide. The screen pistol lacks it. Second, the barrel of the screen pistol is definitely shorter. And third, the slide serration isn't straight but semicircular. So we can see that the screen pistol isn't a Model 1903, but all its features perfectly match Ruby pistols. As there was several dozens of versions of Ruby, produced by various manufacturers, it's hard to define the exact model but it's Ruby-type without doubt. Greg-Z (talk)
