The Outsider (original title Le Marginal) is a 1983 French crime movie directed by Jacques Deray and starring Jean-Paul Belmondo as police commissaire Philippe Jordan.
The following weapons were used in the film Le Marginal:
Revolvers
Manurhin MR-73
A Manurhin MR-73 revolver is used as a service sidearm by commissaire Philippe Jordan (Jean-Paul Belmondo) and some other police detectives.
Colt Python
During the car chase one of Mecacci's henchmen fires a snub nose revolver that appears to be a Colt Python.
Unidentified revolvers
Police inspector Simon (Roger Dumas) carries a revolver in holster. It's not an MR-73 as it has the different shape of the grip and the logo is placed differently, but it can be a Ruger model.
During the shootout in Francis Pierron's warehouse one of Mecacci's henchmen fires an unidentified revolver.
Pistols
Beretta M1951
A Beretta M1951 is used by one of Mecacci's hitmen (Didier Sauvegrain).
Browning Hi-Power
Police inspector Rojinski (Pierre Vernier) carries a pistol in holster. It is seen only partially but the shape of the grip allows to guess that it's a Browning Hi-Power. A Hi-Power is also seen in Mecacci's (Henry Silva) safe in the final scene.
Beretta 93R
A Beretta 93R, taken from Antonio Baldi's (Claude Brosset) car, is used by commissaire Jordan in the final scene.
Lahti L-35
A Lahti L-35 is used by Francis Pierron (Tchéky Karyo), Jordan's old friend.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
A guard in a den (Jean-Roger Milo) is armed with a Mossberg 500 pump action shotgun with sawn-off stock and barrel.
Rifles
SIG Manurhin SG 540
In the final scene a hitman uses an assalt rifle that appears to be some version of SIG Manurhin SG 540. It seems to have a shorter barrel than SG 540 but a fixed stock, unlike carbine SIG SG 543.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2 is mounted on the bow of Border Guard cutter.
