Rifles
Steyr AUG
The Steyr AUG is seen in the hands of Ben Richards (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Bakersfield Police officers, the ICS security guards and the guerrillas.
Colt Commando
The Colt Commando is used by Ben Richards (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Laughlin (Yaphet Kotto), Chico (Thomas Rosales Jr.) and a number of prisoners during the escape from the Wilshire Detention Zone as well as a number of the prison guards at the beginning of the film; and in the hands of the Guerrillas towards the end of the film.
Calico M100
Calico M100 rifles were seen in the hands of the prison guards at the Wilshire Detention Zone at the beginning of the film and in the hands of the ICS security guards.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
A Franchi SPAS-12 can be seen in the hands of a Bakersfield Police officer at the beginning of the film.
Mossberg 500 Bullpup
The Mossberg 500 Bullpup is seen in the hands of the guerillas during the ICS studio shootout.
Handguns
Beretta 92F
A Beretta 92F can be seen in the hands of Lieutenant Sanders (George P. Wilbur) when he tried to detain Richards after Richards refused to open fire on the food rioters.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch HK94
The converted Heckler & Koch HK94 is used by Richards (Arnold Schwarzenegger) during the final assault. A similar weapon is used by Arnold Schwarzenegger a year earlier in the film Raw Deal.
Micro-Uzi
A customized Micro Uzi is carried by Amber Mendez (Maria Conchita Alonso) during the assault on the ICS Building. Her Micro-Uzi has some parts chrome plated, indicating this exact same weapon was seen in Total Recall, Predator 2, and The Class of 1999. It is fitted with a 15-round magazine, barrel extension, and scope.
Other
M134 Minigun
The M134 Minigun is seen mounted in M21 Armament Subsystem on the side of the Huey gunship in the Bakersfield Massacre scene. Trivia: The scene where the M134 Minigun was fired was taken from the 1976 remake of King Kong, specifically the sequence where Huey gunships open fire with their miniguns when Kong is top of the World Trade Center. This moment inspired this funny video.
Net gun
Net gun is used by police to capture Ben Richards. This gun is a real gun, used mostly in reality to catch animals without harming them and was also used in the film Escape from L.A..
Truck mounted cannon
A small cannon is seen mounted on the police van that captures Richards.
Weapons of the "Stalkers"
Throughout the film, the "Stalkers" use various weaponry to take down the Running Man contestants. The names of the weapons are taken from the following product placement announcements made during the end credits: *The Running Man* has been brought to you by: Breakaway Paramilitary Uniforms, Ortopure Procreation Pill, and Cadre Cola; it hits the spot! Promotional considerations paid for by: Kelton Flame Throwers, Wainwright Electrical Launchers, and Hammond & Gage Chainsaws. Damon Killian's wardrobe by Chez Antoinne: 19th-Century craftsmanship for the 21st-Century man. Cadre Trooper and studio-guard side arms provided by Colchester: the pistol of patriots. Remember: Tickets for the ICS studio tour are always available for Class-A citizens in good standing. If you'd like to be a contestant on The Running Man, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: ICS Talent Hunt, care of your local affiliate, and then go out and do something really despicable! I'm Phil Hilton! Good night, and take care!
Kelton Flamethrower
A customized flamethrower used by Fireball (Jim Brown). The gas tank pack also houses rocket jets that allow Fireball to fly.
Wainwright Electrical Launcher
The "Cordless Taser" type weapon mentioned as a Wainwright Electrical Launcher in the end credits voicover is used by Dynamo (Erland Van Lidth) throughout the movie. It accidently kills Dynamo himself during a fight with Amber Mendez when she shoots the Water Sprinklers therefore electricuting him.
Hammond & Gage Chainsaw
The Chainsaw used by "Buzzsaw" Eddie Bitowski (Gus Rethwisch) is unknown. But in the scene where Buzzsaw is introduced to audience and in the end credits voicover, it is mentioned as "Hammond & Gage Chainsaw". Buzzsaw's chainsaws are mentioned as being made of "trylon-coated durasteel", and able to cut almost everything (as he demonstrated by cutting metal). Buzzsaw's Honda motorcycle has special mount to place his chainsaw.
Hockey Puck Grenade
A Hockey Puck Grenade used by Professor Subzero (Professor Toru Tanaka) to knock out Ben Richards. Professor used his sharpened hockey stick to launch it.
Signal Flare
Ben Richards uses Fireball's own signal flare that was on his belt, to ignite the gasoline from Fireball's severed gasline.
Costume weapon
A unwieldy costume is seen in studio on Captain Freedom (Jesse Ventura) though, he didn't use it due to personal dislike of any weapons in the game. Arm-mounted costume pieces have barrels, but it's unknown what type of ammo or energy do they fire.
