The following guns were used in the movie Bad Taste

IMI Uzi

Derek (Peter Jackson) uses an IMI Uzi sub-machine gun at the start of the film. The weapon is seen again later in the hands of an alien. It's interesting to note that Peter Jackson went about crafting most of the guns himself for the movie.

The prop Uzi being fired. You can tell this weapon is fake because the bolt doesn't move during firing and no casings are being ejected. Peter Jackson added the muzzle flashes in later during post-production.

Sterling L2A3 SMG

Three Sterling sub-machine guns are used by Frank, Barry and Ozzy. In the "Good taste made Bad Taste" documentry, Director Peter Jackson explains how he made these guns himself out of aluminium pipe and plastic. He doesn't specify if he made the other guns but nonetheless they're quite impressive.
