Wake of Death is a 2004 action film that stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as a former gangster who finds himself being pulled back into that world when his wife brings home a young Chinese immigrant that turns out to be the daughter of a Triad boss. Despite the film's setting of Los Angeles, the film was produced in South Africa, thus many of the weapons seen here appear to be of South African origin.
The following weapons were used in the film Wake of Death:
Browning Hi-Power (Two-tone)
A two-tone Browning Hi-Power is one of the handguns carried by Ben Archer (Jean-Claude Van Damme).
Vektor Z88
Due to the film's production in South Africa, the Vektor Z88, the South African copy of the Beretta 92FS, appears to be the handgun used throughout the film in lieu of the Beretta.
Vektor CP1
The Vektor CP1 is held by Sun Quan (Simon Yam) during the final standoff with Ben Archer.
Vektor SP1
The Vektor SP1 is held by a Triad gangster during a restaurant shootout.
Remington 870
A Remington 870 with a pistol grip is used by a masked Ben Archer (Jean-Claude Van Damme) during a hit.
Armscor BXP
A Triad opens fire with an Armscor BXP submachine gun (manufactured in South Africa, where the production was filmed).
