Trivia
"Faux" Mi-24 Hind
The "Mi-24 Hind" seen in the film is in reality a Sikorsky S-62 mocked up with faux weapons platforms to resemble the Russian attack helicopter. The modified helicopter appears to also been used in the Gary Busey action film Bulletproof (1988) (filmed in the same year as this one) and the 1989 Dolph Lundgren actioner Red Scorpion.
"Faux" American Attack Helicopter
The US Army attack helicopter seen in the film appears to be a Sikorsky S-76A helicopter modified with gun pods mounted on weapons platforms.
