:I looked again and again, and I think that you are right. One more reason is the height of front sight in comparison with muzzle size, it matches .44 better than .357. It's a .357 magnum S&W N-Frame. Look at the barrel where it joins the frame. There is a very distinctive taper. The Model 29 has a heavier bull barrel. No taper. | |||

It's a .357 magnum S&W N-Frame. Look at the barrel where it joins the frame. There is a very distinctive taper. The Model 29 has a heavier bull barrel. No taper.
