EDIT - It seems to have a large grip, indicating it's a double-stack/high-cap variant. Also there's a demarcation on the frame that might be the frame bulge for the high-cap autos as well. The gun doesn't appear to have the larger sights of the 2nd gen autos though, so I'm thinking it might just be a [[Smith & Wesson 59]] rather than a [[Smith & Wesson 459|459]], but I understand you could get the lower profile fixed sights on the other S&W autos as well, so, I'm not sure. There is a pin placement on the frame that could definitely ID it, but that detail can't be determined on these images. S&W Auto
I changed the listing but I'd like an opinion on an exact ID. I agree it's a NOT a 5904, as it and other 3rd gen S&W autos weren't released until well after this film was made.
