Cujo is a 1983 horror film based off the novel by Stephen King. It follows a crazed rabid St. Bernard, who attacks a mother and her son in their dead car.

The following guns were used in the movie "Cujo"

Smith & Wesson Model 66

Sheriff George Bannerman (Sandy Ward) definitely carries a Smith & Wesson revolver, judging by the inscription on the right side of the barrel, but it is unknown which model it is. It is mostlikely a Smith & Wesson Model 66 .357 Magnum revolver, judging by the wood grips and the stainless steel finish, although it could also be a 686. It is later used by Donna Trenton (Dee Wallace).

Model 66 with wood grips and a 4 inch barrel.

Unidentified Rifle

An unidentified rifle, possibly a Winchester 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine, is seen briefly.

Trivia

  • George Bannerman is seen in many Stephen King works that take place in fictional Castle Rock, Maine, including Cujo. He appeared in The Dead Zone, however, portrayed there by Tom Skerritt. There he carried a .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 28 "Highway Patrolman" revolver. Here he is portrayed by Sandy Ward and carries a stainless steel .357 Smith & Wesson that appears to be a Model 66 or a vintage Model 686.
