Fake? M134 Minigun
An M134 minigun is seen mounted on one of the UH-1 choppers during the famous raid scene. Its possible this weapon is a prop as the M134 was a new weapon at the time. It is more likely that the M134 was simply what was mounted in the helicopter by the Laos Army, who loaned all the helicopters used to film the scene. The M134 would have been unlikely to have been deployed at the time and place of the setting.
