The Counselor is a 2013 drama directed by Ridley Scott from a script written by Cormac McCarthy (the author of No Country for Old Men). The cast includes Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, and Brad Pitt.

Wireman (Sam Spruell) is seen using a Beretta 92FS. The Beretta is also seen used by a hitman.

One of the cartel hitmen is armed with a nickel M1911A1. After the shootout, he is seen using the pistol to hammer in a branch to stop a leak.

What appears to be a Taurus Model 605 revolver is seen being pulled by Reiner (Javier Bardem) when confronted by cartel hitmen.
