The Haunted Castle (original title Das Spukschloß im Spessart - "The Ghosts in Spessart") is a 1960 West German musical comedy directed by Kurt Hoffmann. A group of friendly ghosts help young Charlotte von Sandau to solve her problems and find love.
The following weapons were used in the film The Haunted Castle:
Mauser Model 1914 Pocket Pistol
A Mauser Model 1914 Pocket Pistol is Von Teckel's (Hubert von Meyerinck) personal firearm.
MP40
When Prince Kalaka appears in Castle Spessart, two of his bodyguards are armed with MP40 submachine guns.
Unidentified rifles
In the same scene two other Prince Kalaka's bodyguards are armed with bolt action rifles, supposedly Mauser system.
Unidentified hunting rifle
A bolt action hunting rifle is seen on Ernst August's (Ernst Waldow) table.
Double Barreled Shotgun
In several scenes Ernst August (Ernst Waldow) is seen with a double barreled shotgun.
Muskets
In the opening scene that takes place in early XIX century the soldiers are armed with flintlock muskets. Various muskets are also seen in Ernst August's (Ernst Waldow) room in Castle Spessart.
