Revolver

Can anyone help me with properly identifying the Colt? I gave it my best guess, but it's hard to properly figure out. Chitoryu12 08:11, 16 April 2012 (CDT)

Well, if we had some screen caps to look at... --Funkychinaman 08:29, 16 April 2012 (CDT)
Added one. There's not a lot for the weapons in this game, and pretty much nothing but pictures taken from a TV screen. Chitoryu12 10:20, 16 April 2012 (CDT)

Change on the page

The following weapons appear in the video game TimeSplitters :

Mauser M712

The full auto variant of the Mauser C96 appears in the Tomb and Village levels as the Mauser Pistol with an incorrect 15-round magazine (which is still correctly depicted as slightly shorter than a real life 20-round magazine). Full auto fire is available simply by pressing the secondary fire button.

Colt 1862 Navy Cartridge Conversion

A Colt 1862 Navy with a very long barrel appears as the Colt Pistol only on the Normal and Hard versions of the 1935 Tomb. Classic Western ricochet sound effects play when the bullets hit solid objects.

Glock 19

A compact Glock 19 with a 10-round magazine and a very light gray slide is available as the Pistol in the Chinese, Chemical Plant, and Docks levels.

2nd Generation Glock 19; the version in-game has a slide that is much lighter than the frame

Blunderbuss

A flintlock blunderbuss is available in the Tomb level and is the worst shotgun in the game. It has an extremely flared muzzle (a good 7 or 8 inches wide) and fires a large spray of ammunition. The weapon has the same half-second reload of all other weapons, preventing the flintlock mechanism from being a hindrance.

Double-barrel shotgun

A 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun is available as the only firearm in the zombie-filled Mansion. It has cut-down barrels, but a full length stock. The Shotgun is the only firearm to have a unique reload animation, with the barrels being broken open before the gun is dipped below the screen for a reload.

Franchi SPAS-12

A Franchi SPAS-12 appears as the Assault Shotgun in the modern day levels with a correct 8-round magazine tube and an unusual pistol grip; it simply juts out of the bottom of the receiver, as opposed to the curved, flush grip of a real SPAS-12. It is the best shotgun in the game thanks to its incorrect full auto feature (though it fires slowly enough that it seems that the player character is merely repeatedly squeezing the trigger).

M1928 Thompson

The M1928 Thompson with a very inaccurate 32-round drum (modeled after the 50-round drum) is available on the Tomb level as the Tommy Gun. Secondary fire allows for semi-automatic firing. The stock appears to have been cut down slightly more than halfway down its length, giving it an unusual chopped appearance. Despite its infamous weight, the Tommy Gun can be dual-wielded.

Mini Uzi

The IMI Mini Uzi appears in the modern levels as the Uzi with a 20-round magazine and the stock removed.

M16

A very low-quality and disproportionate M16 is available in the modern levels. It comes with an A2/A3 handguard and fires in full auto only, but has a sort of greenish-gray finish. The various pieces of the weapon are greatly out of proportion, giving it a cartoonish appearance.

FAMAS

A FAMAS G2 is available as the Assault Rifle on the modern levels. It's much larger than the real weapon and appears to have a straight F1 magazine jutting out of the magazine well at a 30 degree angle forward.
