Briggs ([[Laurence Fishburne]]) leads a colony of subterranean survivors after the breakdown of weather machines used to combat global warming have caused the next ice age. After receiving an SOS call from a colony of their allies and then no further communication, a group of three Briggs, Sam ([[Kevin Zegers]]) and Graydon ([[Atticus Dean Mitchell]]) go to investigate. Upon arriving at the neighboring colony they find blood and dead bodies everywhere and only one survivor who's locked himself in a secure room, but he isn't alone in the colony.
