To read an article on the rifle built for Billy Bob Thornton check out GUNS magazine, January 2004. The article, by Bill Ball, is entitled The most famous rifle of Texas! Recreating Colonel Crockett's rifle at the battle of the Alamo. --Markethunter 21:33, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

I'm not seeing a barrel band on it. Is it possible that some models of the Charleville didn't have barrel bands? -Markethunter

I believe that that musket has been misidentified, it is a Brown Bess Musket not a Charleville. Note that it does not have the distinctive double throated hammer -Hawkeye

The Baker rifle is wrong as well I think. It has no patch box, I can't see a rear sight and it appears to have a barrel band, so I think it is probably a Charleville model instead. --commando552 (talk) 06:18, 22 December 2013 (EST)
