Hi. This is my first contribution to the site. I have just one question. Where i can find links for pictures of real weapons. The pic that goes above games weapons. Thanks Mark0994 21:16, 19 December 2013

They can be found on the gun pages. For example, if you want images of M1911A1s, just search for the M1911A1 page. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:21, 19 December 2013 (EST)
I forget, did we ban phone apps or just talk about it because we didn't think anyone would bother to screencap them? Apps don't exactly have a lot of quality control, they go right from Hollywood movie to YouTube video. Evil Tim (talk) 19:34, 19 December 2013 (EST)
We're discussing it on the forum right now. --Funkychinaman (talk) 19:38, 19 December 2013 (EST)

This app...

Now I love gun simulators. My phone is full of them. Now this was one of my favorite for a while. And yeah, I still like it for its unprecedented interactivity and selection, but good god, it gets thing wrong so many times! Magazines are refereed to as "clips" on many weapons, markings are missing on many weapons, rounds can't be seen in pistol chambers, and a lot of SMGs and pistols are shown ejecting the wrong type of ammo- the M1A1 Thompson ejects rifle rounds and the Five-seveN ejects things that look like 9mm rounds. I could just go on and on.

On another note, what the hell is the "new" Colt 1911 model supposed to be? It doesn't look like any Colt I've seen. --PyramidHead (talk) 17:17, 19 December 2013 (EST)

I think the lack of correct markings on some of the guns is to get around trademark issues that might arise. --cool-breeze (talk) 20:07, 19 December 2013 (EST)
