Does either of them have a significant advantage over the other, or is it strictly a matter of personal preference? - User: 2wingo
Mostly it's the latter. The S&W will usually have a better double action trigger pull. The Colts are somewhat bigger and,at least in my experience, don't move much in recoil. Grip adapters help the shooting qualities of both greatly.
