Soldiers of Fortune is a 2012 action film starring Christian Slater as a former special forces soldier who is hired by an adventure company to escort a group of wealthy men into a real war zone while keeping them safe. The movie was filmed primarily in the Ukraine and the cast included James Cromwell, Dominic Monaghan, Sean Bean, and Ving Rhames. The film had a very limited theatrical run in the US before being released on video.
The following weapons were used in the film Soldiers of Fortune:
At his residence, Haussman (James Cromwell) is seen pulling a stainless pistol at firing it at a bottle. This pistol appears to be a Blow F06 blank firing only handgun. These pistols also are used throughout the film by different characters.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Craig is seen with what appears to be a suppressed Heckler & Koch MP5K during the opening mission in Afghanistan. Since this weapon is actually seen firing, it's likely that this weapon is actually a Blow Crazy blank-firing replica modeled after the MP5K.
Ekol ASI Uzi
The Ekol ASI UZI is seen in the hands of guards during an arms deal. Women aboard Dimidov's boat also open fire with this firearms.
Assault Rifles
Colt M4A1
Mason's operatives are armed with what appear to be replicas of the M4A1.
AKS-74U
Craig (Christian Slater) almost the entire movie (from the training base in Romania) uses AKS-74U. One of the Lupo's mercenaries also shows the use of AKS-74U in the attack on the camp of the rebels.
AKS-74
What appear to be an AKS-74 rifles with black synthetic furniture are also seen in the film.
FN SCAR-L CQC
FN SCAR-L CQC can be seen in the video, advertising the project "Soldier of Fortune".
Machine Guns
PK
A heavily-customized PK machine gun is the main firearm wielded by Grimaud (Ving Rhames). This particular machine gun has been fitted with mock MG42 type barrel above the real barrel to fit a scope and M16 type carry handle. Unmodified PK's are also seen in the film. The machine guns used in the film are original PK's rather than the later PKM's, as noted by their fluted rear barrels and larger curved gas blocks.
Dimidov is seen using what appears to be a RPG-22 rocket launcher to take out a pirate boat. Grimaud also picks up what appears to be an RPG-22, and finally uses it against Colonel Lupo's boat.
