The following guns were used in the movie Windtalkers

M1911A1

Both Sergeant Joe Enders (Nicolas Cage) and Sergeant Peat 'Ox' Hendersen (Christian Slater) pack M1911A1 pistols.

Used by Harrigan until it explodes on his back when Japanese soldiers ambush the village.

Used by Chick (Noah Emmerich) thoughout the entire movie.

Arisaka Type 99 Rifle

The Arisaka Rifle Type 99 was used by Imperial Japanese Soldiers as their main service rifle. Most of the time with an added bayonet.

Nambu 14th Year

The Nambu is seen briefly when a Japanese officer attempts to pull one out before Yahzee stabs him with a bayonet on his captured Arisaka.

Arisaka 38th Year

Used by Yahzee when he created a plan to disguise himself as a Japanese soldier to steal a radio with Enders.

Type 96 LMG

Used by Japanese soldiers in all of the combat scenes. Enders used two to cover Yahzee when he was stealing a radio.

Type 92 LMG

Used by a few Japanese soldiers on the first battle on Saipan.
