Jane Austen's Mafia! is a 1998 spoof comedy directed by Jim Abrahams (the Hot Shots! series) starring Jay Mohr, Billy Burke, Christina Applegate, and in his final film, Lloyd Bridges. As the title suggests, the film took on gangster films, drawing mainly upon the Godfather series and Casino, but also drawing upon other films like Forrest Gump and The English Patient. The title also references the brief surge in Jane Austen adaptations at the time.
The following weapons were used in the film Jane Austen's Mafia!:
Double Barreled Shotgun
Ruffo (Stefan Lysenko) tries to kill young Vincenzo Cortino (Jason Fuchs) with a Double Barreled Shotgun.
Gasser M1880 Montenegrin
Ruffo tries to kill young Vincenzo again later on with a Gasser M1880 Montenegrin.
Webley Bulldog
Young Clamato (Anthony Jesse Cruz) hands Young Vincenzo what appears to be a Webley Bulldog in a paper bag to hold for him.
CZ Vz. 61 E
The "Little Friend" (Deep Roy) uses a suppressed CZ Vz. 61 E during an assassination attempt.
Smith & Wesson Model 29
Joey Cortino (Billy Burke) carries what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 29 in a shoulder holster during his wedding. He draws it on at least two occasions.
NAA Mini Revolver
Joey uses a NAA Mini Revolver at the wedding as well.
Colt Official Police
Antony Cortino (Jay Mohr) pulls what appears to be a Colt Official Police from behind a toilet tank, spoofing a similar scene in The Godfather.
Colt Detective Special
Realizing he was at the wrong toilet, Antony grabs a Colt Detective Special from behind another toilet tank.
