Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons appear in the TV series Dexter:
Glock 17
The Glock 17, referred throughout the show as a "9 mm", is the primary sidearm of most of the Miami Metro PD detectives in the Homicide division, including Lt. Maria LaGuerta (Lauren Velez), Det. Joey Quinn (Desmond Harrington), and - in Season 1 only - Sgt. James Doakes (Erik King). In Season 2, FBI agents, including Special Agent Frank Lundy (Keith Carradine), carry Glock 17s when searching the railroad tracks in "Dex, Lies, and Videotape" (2.06).
Walther PPK
In the flashback when young Dexter goes hunting with his father in "Popping Cherry" (1.03), they are choosing guns from Harry's gun case. Dexter picks up a Walther PPK, which he refers to this as a 9mm, indicating it's in .380 ACP (9mm kurz). Officer Zoey Kruger uses a stainless PPK when she breaks into Dexter's house, another is seen in a file photo from when her family was murdered. Christine Hill (Courtney Ford) uses a stainless PPK.
Colt Detective Special
Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) finds a first generation Colt Detective Special in ex-con Paul Bennett's hotel room in "Seeing Red" (1.10).
Colt Python
In a flashback in "It's Alive!" (2.01), a young Dexter is seen firing a stainless Colt Python, which he intends to take on a boar-hunting trip, at the shooting range with his father Harry (James Remar). When Harry tells Dexter they have to go, Dexter refuses and, during a struggle, the gun goes off, narrowly missing Harry. Note that when the weapon is fired at Harry, a spent shell casing can be heard hitting the ground even though the weapon is a revolver.
Beretta 8000 Cougar
Detective Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) carried a Beretta 8000 Cougar as her duty sidearm during Season 2, notably seen in "Waiting to Exhale", "Left Turn Ahead", and "The British Invasion".
Kimber TLE/RL Custom II
Former U.S. Special Forces operator Curtis Barnes (John Marshall Jones) draws a Kimber TLE Custom II on Doakes in "See-Through" (2.04).
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is also a common service pistol of the Miami Metro PD Homicide Division, carried by Sgt. Doakes (Erik King) in the second season and Det. Angel Batista (David Zayas) throughout the show. Batista always carried a standard 92FS with the exception of the second season, when he carried a two-tone model.
Colt Officer's ACP
Dexter finds killer Ken Olson's (Silas Weir Mitchell) gun collection in "Dex, Lies, and Videotape" (2.06), consisting of two small pistols including a Colt Officer's ACP and a Heckler & Koch USP Compact.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
Dexter finds killer Ken Olson's (Silas Weir Mitchell) gun collection in "Dex, Lies, and Videotape" (2.06), consisting of two small pistols including a Colt Officer's ACP and a two-tone Heckler & Koch USP Compact.
Unidentified Revolver
Vince Masuka (C.S. Lee), Miami Metro PD's lead forensic investigator, carries his own stainless target revolver when he runs to Dexter's aid in "Morning Comes" (2.08).
Beretta 92FS Inox
Santos Jiminez (Tony Amendola), the cocaine-dealing tavern owner who killed Dexter's mother, carries a Beretta 92FS Inox in his waistband in "Morning Comes" (2.08). Sgt. Doakes' Jericho 941 in "Resistance is Futile" (2.09) becomes a Beretta 92FS Inox in close-up when it is fired at Dexter's leg.
Jericho 941R
Sgt. Doakes (Erik King) carries his personal weapon, a stainless Jericho 941 R, when he confronts Dexter at the Everglades in "Resistance is Futile" (2.09). Seeing as Doakes had to turn in his duty Beretta 92FS when he was suspended in a previous episode, it is likely that the Jericho 941 R is his personal weapon.
M1911A1
A standard M1911A1 is seen in the Miami Metro PD storage room when Dexter talks to Deb in "There's Something About Harry" (2.10).
Heckler & Koch USP
In an extremely rare case, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) uses a two-tone Heckler & Koch USP to kill a drug dealer Teo Famosa in "Left Turn Ahead". This weapon was taken from the body of the drug dealer's brother Esteban, who was killed moments earlier, apparently by Dexter's bare hands. Esteban also used it earlier as a blunt object to knock down Doakes unconcious. At the very first shot of this moment it was clearly some kind of Beretta 92 pistol but in the next shot it changed to USP used in the rest of the episode.
Kimber Ultra Carry Crimson II
ADA Miguel Prado (Jimmy Smits) is seen using a subcompact 1911-style pistol, most likely a Kimber Ultra Carry Crimson II during the climax of "Finding Freebo", judging by the sights and the two-tone finish.
Uzi
The drug dealer Teo Famosa in "Left Turn Ahead" uses an Uzi when holding Sgt. Doakes captive.
Glock 19
Officer Zoey Kruger used a 2nd Generation Glock 19 as her duty sidearm, notably seen when she pulled it on Dexter in "Dex Takes a Holiday" (Ep. 4.04).
Glock 26
Detective Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) carries a Glock 26 from Season 3 onwards as her duty sidearm. Officer Cira Manzon (April Hernandez Castillo) uses a Glock 26 with a stainless steel slide. A undercover FBI Agent carries a Glock 26 while escorting Jonah Mitchell.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Miami P.D. SWAT units are seen throughout the series armed with MP5's. Notably seen during the raid on Arthur Mitchell's (John Lithgow) house.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Miami P.D. SWAT units are seen throughout the series armed with MP5's. Notably seen during the raid on Arthur Mitchell's (John Lithgow) house.
Colt M4A1
Miami P.D SWAT units are seen throughout the series armed with M4A1's which are fitted with EOTech Holographic sights and rail mounted flash lights.
Unknown 12 Gauge Shotgun
Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) keeps his fathers shotgun locked away in his apartment.
Unknown Small Frame Revolver
IN episode 1x05 Debra Morgan is seen carrying a small frame revolver, likely a Colt Detective Special, in a SOB holster
Smith & Wesson Model 64
Lumen Pierce (Julia Stiles) is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 64 in episode 5.05 "Everything is Illimenated". It was originally seen in the hands of Boyd Fowler (Shawn Hatosy) in episode 5.03.
