Malory's gun doesn't look much like S&W 629. From second season onwards - yes, but, in "Dial M for Mother" it looks more like Dan Wesson 715 or Dan Wesson 744V. Lacks details much, but vented barrel rib and flat barrel bottom makes me think so.
