Taxi is the 2004 American remake of the 1998 French action comedy film of the same name. The film stars Jimmy Fallon as an NYPD officer whose driver's license has been suspended and must depend on a streetwise taxi driver (Queen Latifah) to help him catch a crew of beautiful bank robbers. The film co-stars Jennifer Esposito, Christian Kane, and Gisele Bündchen.
The following weapons were used in the film Taxi (2004):
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the standard sidearm carried by Andrew 'Andy' Washburn (Jimmy Fallon), Lt. Marta Robbins (Jennifer Esposito), and most of the New York City Police in the film. There is a Scene where he fired 9 shots at the robbers, note that he only fired 9 shots while the Glock 17 mostly hold 17 rounds. Note that the slide is locked back, after 9 shots.
Pepper Box
At the undercover operation at the beginning of the film, one of the Cuban criminals hides behind a door with a Pepper Box revolver.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Washburn draws a Smith & Wesson Model 36 from his ankle holster when arguing with Isabelle 'Belle' Williams (Queen Latifah) and demanding his badge back. Belle then takes the weapon from Washburn to taunt him with both his badge and gun.
Colt Model 725 Carbine
One of the female criminals carries an Colt Model 725 Carbine which she uses to knock out Washburn at the garage. The Colt Model 725 Carbine has an aftermarket 'slip over' XM177 style flash hider and Lancer™ Translucent AR15 30 round magazines.
Smith & Wesson 5906
Several of the bank robbers use Smith & Wesson 5906 pistols. One of these is grabbed by Washburn at the garage shootout.
Beretta Inox Non-gun
During a car chase, the leader of the bank robbers shoots out the tires of several cars with a Beretta Inox Non-gun to hinder the pursuing police.
Walther PPK/S
Vanessa (Gisele Bündchen), the leader of the female bank robbers, carries a Walther PPK/S as her main weapon throughout the film.
SIG-Sauer P228
Agent Mullins (Christian Kane) carries a SIG-Sauer P228 as his main sidearm.
Beretta Cheetah
Washburn takes out a stainless Beretta Cheetah, his backup gun, after his Glock is taken by Agent Mullins.
SIG-Sauer P232
The only male thief known simply as the Brazilian Man (Adrian Martinez) draws a SIG-Sauer P232 on Belle when she knocks on the door of the thieves hideout.
