: It really matches F1 very close. I think we may take it as a better guess that MR-73. [[User:Greg-Z|Greg-Z]] ([[User talk:Greg-Z|talk]]) 13:56, 8 July 2013 (EDT) |

Model 19?
Are you sure that's a Model 19? It looks a bit big. Maybe a Model 29 instead? --Funkychinaman 13:41, 5 December 2011 (CST)
- I'm not 100% sure. It seems to me that Model 29 has a little different barrel but I may be wrong. I'm not an expert in S&W revolvers... Greg-Z 14:01, 5 December 2011 (CST)
The bore in the shot below looked to be bigger than .38/.357. (BTW, I thought he looked familiar. It's the guy from Cinema Paradiso.)
- Well, so I made a mistake. I will correct the article. Greg-Z 23:15, 5 December 2011 (CST)
- I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just saying it looks a bit big, that's all. --Funkychinaman 23:23, 5 December 2011 (CST)
- I compared this one with Model 29 in Eastwood's hand in Dirty Harry. I think you are right, this is .44 revolver, Model 29. Greg-Z 04:50, 6 December 2011 (CST)

And again I'm in doubt. I found a good article about the armament of French police: they used S&W Model 19 as a service weapon for a long time. So Model 19 could be used in French movie easily. Greg-Z 10:34, 7 December 2011 (CST)
This S&W revolvers is Smith & Wesson Model 27 ?
- There are two different revolvers: the one that Pratt takes from his case is a blued steel one, but when Pratt meets Reiner, the revolver switches to stainless steel version (it is too dull to be nickel plated). The second revolver has a muzzle size like .44. The first revolver can be .357 but I still think that it is .44 too. These revolvers are still a question. Greg-Z (talk) 13:51, 8 July 2013 (EDT)
Gun Identification
I think I can help to identify at least one (and maybe more) gun(-s) in this movie;
- Unidentified Pistol: ...Pistol-1.jpg: that's definitely a LAR Grizzly Pistol.
- Rifles on the shooting range: ...ShootingRange-4.jpg: Looks very much like a French sniper rifle Unique TGC.
- Rifles on the shooting range: ...ShootingRange-5/6.jpg: Looks very much like an Anchütz Model 1913 target rifle (I have used Anschütz rifles myself!).
Hope this helps, don't have the movie myself so I can only go by your screenshots. Good luck, --PeeWee055 04:13, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- Thank you! Greg-Z 04:50, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- No worries, you're welcome. One remark, the pistol with suppressor (filename ...Pistol-2.jpg) is definitely not a LAR Grizzly Pistol. It's way smaller, could even be the previously used Walther PPK for all I know, --PeeWee055 04:58, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- This silenced pistol was seen only in darkness. I'll try to make additional screenshots and make them lighter - maybe the pistol could be seen better. Greg-Z 06:43, 6 December 2011 (CST)

A little more light added... Greg-Z 09:30, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- Maybe an H&K P7? --Funkychinaman 09:37, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- Maybe. And what about Walther P5? Greg-Z 10:09, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- Yes, it looks more like a P5. --Funkychinaman 11:38, 6 December 2011 (CST)

Different revolver
MR-73s are supposed to have six shots, correct? The shot below shows a revolver with a five shot cylinder. --Funkychinaman 09:47, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- Yes, again my mistake. So Sabine's revolver is not MR-73. What small 5-shot revolver could be used?... Greg-Z 10:09, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- SW Model 60? It's hard to tell from this angle. --Funkychinaman 11:37, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- Here are several more screenshots.
- SW Model 60? It's hard to tell from this angle. --Funkychinaman 11:37, 6 December 2011 (CST)
The revolver is seen only in two scenes: this one, when it is holstered, and when Sabine fires it (view from the muzzle). Greg-Z 12:50, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- Can it be Charter Arms Undercover? Greg-Z 23:34, 6 December 2011 (CST)
- This gun has a shrouded ejector rod. I know Charter Arms Undercovers have them now, but did the have them in 1985? I was also going to guess Ruger SP101, but they weren't manufactured until 1989. --Funkychinaman 01:30, 7 December 2011 (CST)
- I look once more these scenes in the movie. Now I think that it mostly look like Model 38/49. Also this model was used in other French police movies, for example Fear over the City (Peur sur la ville). Greg-Z 10:34, 7 December 2011 (CST)

Molotov Cocktail
Hooded gang used Molotov Cocktail to burn alive a family of African immigrants.
Dynamite sticks
Pratt used the dynamite to take one of the police officers as a hostage.
Revolver
Do you think that can be a Ruger Speed Six? Or the Manurhin F1 Commando just uploaded? --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:16, 8 July 2013 (EDT)
