During the first heist gunfight, when the backup troops are called, a CRS policeman is seen holding a [[FAMAE SAF]] submachine gun. This is pretty strange to use a chilean gun, while almost all the French Police's arsenal was provided by SIG-Sauer, the other part of the arsenal being French-made weapons like Manufacture d'armes de Saint-Etienne (MAS) or Manurhin.

Taxi is a 1998 french produced movie, directed by Gérard Pirès and Luc Besson. The movie is about a young taxi driver, Daniel Morales, an excellent driver and Emilien, a cop that always fails what he wants to begin.

Emilien (Frédéric Diefenthal), along with other policemen, carries a SIG-Sauer P228 as his main weapon. However, it is only seen fired once, and dual wielded, at Kruger's garage.

Alain (Edouard Montoute) uses a Beretta 84FS during the first heist gunfight. However, it is seen very briefly.

Alain (Edouard Montoute) carries a silver Beretta 92F after the .S.D.L.M. bank heist. A policeman is seen firing one during the gunfight after the first heist.
