Short Barreled 629s
I think that the custom barrels of the 629s from Extreme Prejudice, Beverly Hills Cop and The Hitcher are made by John Jovino Gun Shop or Magna-Port Combat Conversion Kit, but more probably is Magna Port. With a quick search on google you understand what I mean.
Magna-Port Combat: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v432/tipoc/mag4.jpg , http://www.magnaport.com/images/mg002.jpg
Jovino (S&W M25 in the photo): http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q68/d1911/Guns001.jpg
Look at the thin compensation holes in the middle of the barrel. It's a peculiarity of both brands.

Performance Centre?
Is the section that is currently titled as "Smith & Wesson Model 629 V-Comp" wrong, I thought it used to be labelled just as "Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Centre". The V-Comp is a different shorter barrelled compensated model shown below. --commando552 20:04, 23 April 2012 (CDT)
