Déjà Vu is a 2006 science fiction thriller directed by Tony Scott and starring Denzel Washington as an ATF Agent who in the course of an investigation of a terrorist bombing, discovers a secret US government program that could hold the key to actually preventing an event that has already occurred. The cast includes Val Kilmer, Bruce Greenwood, and Paula Patton and the production filmed in the city of New Orleans only a few months following Hurricane Katrina.

ATF Agent Doug Carlin (Denzel Washington) steals a Glock 17 from the holster of a hospital security guard.

Soldiers policing the Ferry disaster scene are armed with M16A2s.
