The Great Dictator was Charlie Chaplin's 1940 biting satire and declaration against the rise of fascism as well as being the first true talking picture made by the noted silent film star. Chaplin wrote, produced and directed the film, as well as taking on multiple roles, including the title character.

Colt New Service
A Tomanian Storm Trooper uses a Colt New Service to shoot a young Jewish man in fictional Osterlich.
Krag-Jørgensen Rifle
Most of the Tomanian infantry are seen using Krag-Jørgensen long rifles with bayonets affixed and carbines.
Mauser 98AZ Artillery Carbine
Prison guards carry the Karabiner 98a as identified by the distinctive stacking hook just below the upper barrel band.
M1903 Springfield
Some of Tomania's infantry carry M1903 Springfield rifles.
Winchester 1897 Field shotgun
The Great Dictator himself goes duck hunting with a Winchester Model 1897 Field shotgun.
Lewis gun
A Lewis light machine gun is used by troops of the fictional country of Tomania in the first World War.
