Flight is a 2012 drama directed by Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) and stars Denzel Washington as Whip Whitaker, a pilot who is declared a hero after successfully landing his crippled airliner. During the course of the crash investigation, he desperately tries to hide his substance addictions from the authorities. The film co-starred John Goodman, Don Cheadle, and Melissa Leo.
