:Yeah, in the movie he says, "This is a CAR-15, military designation M4". Which is, of course, far from true. The weapons I see in the screenshots all have the XM177-style flash hider, but the receiver types vary - some have the M16A1-style receiver, others the M16A2-style receiver. I'd guess they're just other AR carbine types with barrels chopped and fake XM177 flash hider installed, which MPM says characterizes the majority of such weapons seen in movies. -[[User:MT2008|MT2008]] 15:53, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

M4 in this movie?

In the script, someone said "This is the Carb 15, military designator: M4". So I assumed there we'll see an M4 like weapon, but so far, I didn't see anything. During the dialogue, all we see is the barrel end of a Car-15 Excalibur01 10:17, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
