Pistol
Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"
Chinese officers and policemen carry Mauser C96 pistols.
Nambu Type 14
A Japanese officer points a Nambu Type 14 at the priest.
Rifles
Hanyang 88
The Hanyang 88, a Chinese copy of Gewehr 1888, is used by some Chinese soldiers and policemen. Master Fan's son also use one in the beginning of the movie.
Type Zhongzheng Rifle (Mauser)
Chinese soldiers also carry Type Zhongzheng Rifle.
Springfield M1903 Mark I
Some Chinese soldiers are seen armed with M1903 Springfield rifle. It is identified as the Mark I variant by the presence of an ejection port for a Pedersen device.
Arisaka Type 38
Japanese soldiers carry Arisaka Type 38 throughout the film.
Machine guns
ZB26

Type 24 Heavy Machine Gun (Maxim MG 08)
Type 24 machine guns, Chinese-built copies of the famous Maxim MG 08, are used by Chinese forces.
Ho-103 machine gun
The Japanese bomber plane has a Ho-103 machine gun mount as one of the planes armaments.
