The following weapons appear in the video game Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes:
For weapons relating to its sister game, see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
M93-T Smoke/Flare Grenade
An icon for Flare Grenades are seen in IGN's extended gameplay video. They could be used to summon the MSF gunship as Big Boss's extraction method when Big Boss frees Chico and Paz. The outline and nature of the grenade suggests that it is the M93-T Smoke/Flare Grenade.
Unidentified FN-Style Rifle
One of the first screenshots for the games shows Snake with what a rifle resembling an FN FNC. The rifle is not an FNC however, appearing to instead be a hybrid of various weapon parts. At this stage it is unconfirmed if this is the final version of the gun as it will appear in game, or if it is a place-holder model.
SAR-80
A guard at the Prison camp in the debut trailer is armed with a SAR-80. Because of the Prison camp's obvious American ties as well as the gun's non usage in America, its implied that the guards are non-Americans who were hired to guard it.
Shipunov 2A42
A Shipunov 2A42 chaingun can be seen mounted on a helicopter in IGN's extended gameplay video.
Unknown MG
Part of a convoy in the debut trailer has a unknown MG mounted on a truck.
Ruger MP9
The soldiers are seen with Ruger MP9s with most of its grip removed and a Skorpion style stock. Some have lights mounted underneath.
M1911 Series Pistol
A soldier has an unknown M1911 type pistol in his holster.
