M1911A1
Lt. Colonel R.T. Nevitt (John Ashton) uses an M1911A1 as his sidearm.
Marlin 336
Jay (Herschel Sparber), one of the hunters who try and capture Kong, wields a Marlin Model 336 at his buddies, as they start taunting Kong. It is distinguished from the Winchester Model 1894 by the side ejection port and flat-top receiver.
M16A1
M16A1 assault rifles are used by Nevitt's men throughout.
M60
M60 machine guns are seen mounted on numerous military vehicles.
M79 Grenade Launcher
At one point the soldiers fire concussion grenades at Kong using M79 grenade launchers.
M203 grenade launcher
An M203 grenade launcher is seen mounted on one soldier's M16.
M1 Flamethrower
Two soldiers wield M1 flamethrowers against Kong in one scene.
M134 Minigun
An M134 Minigun is seen mounted on helicopter gunships which strafe Kong atop the World Trade Center in stock footage from the previous film during the pre-credits sequence.
Browning M2
Browning M2s are mounted on several military vehicles.
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun
When Kong happens upon a small lakeside town, an elderly man shoots at him ineffectually with a shotgun.
