Welcome to the Punch is a 2013 British crime thriller starring James McAvoy as burnt out cop Max Lewinsky and Mark Strong as his nemisis Jacob Sternwood.
The following weapons were used in the film Welcome to the Punch:
Handguns
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
A Heckler & Koch USP Compact is issued to max (James McAvoy) after being instructed to capture Sternwood at the night club meeting.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is correctly issued to the armed police guarding Ruan Sternwood (Elyes Gabel)
Beretta 92FS
Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) uses a Beretta 92FS as his primary weapon through-out most of the film. He uses one at the beginning of the film to shoot Max (James McAvoy) in the leg, he uses another one on his return to the UK. It is also seen in a continuity error.
Browning Hi-Power
The Browning Hi-Power is used by one of the corrupt cops that come to inspect Ruan Sternwood's apartment.
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is used by Dean Warns (Johnny Harris) as his personnel side arm. It changes to a Beretta 92FS in a continuity error when Warns hides his pistol behind his back at his gran's house.
M1911A1
Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) pulls a nickel plated M1911A1 out of a secret compartment in his floor while preparing to leave Iceland. The pistol is in a water proof bag with the amunition. Sensibly he doesn't leave the rounds in the magazine or the spring would become weak over time and cause jamming. Another M1911A1 is used by Roy Edwards (Peter Mullan) at the house of Warns’ gran’s house.
Sub-machine Guns
Heckler & Koch UMP-9
Heckler & Koch UMPs are used by Dean Warns (Johnny Harris) and a corrupt cop in the night club shootout.
Heckler & Koch MP5SD3
A Heckler & Koch MP5SD3 is seen being held by one of the assailants in the final shootout at the docking yard.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
At the beginning of the film Sternwood (Mark Strong) and his crew have Heckler & Koch MP5Ks strapped to their sides. They seem to disappear when the crew mount their motorcycles.
Rifles
M4A1 Carbine
Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) uses a M4A1 Carbine during the final shootout at the dock yard. It seems to have a RIS foregrip with an M68 Aimpoint scope attached.
Heckler & Koch G36K
The Icelandic police team all use Heckler & Koch G36Ks while trying to raid Sternwood's house in Iceland.
Heckler & Koch G36C
Max (James McAvoy) uses a Heckler & Koch G36C in the final shootout at the docks.
Unkown AK variant
An unkown variant of an AK with no stock is used in the final shootout, a clear look is never given.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Max (James McAvoy) uses what appears to be a Mossberg 500 Cruiser when his Heckler & Koch G36C runs out of ammunition.
