The Trench is an upcoming first-person shooter developed by an independent gaming studio in France. Set during World War One, the player takes control of a sector of the French Army lines during the Battle of Verdun, one of the bloodiest engagements of the conflict. During the three days before the battle starts, the player must position the troops, send out patrols and trench raids and use air and artillery assets to control the battlefield.
The game has not being released. All information and screencaps are from trailers and screencaps. A list of weapons that will be in the game can be found on the developer's website.
