:I'm fairly sure it is a Romanian carbine of some sort (not a Draco, that is a specific US import version). I think the gun pictured is one of the more recent version which is actually chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Also it has the RPK style bulged trunion which if memory serves is on some of the Romanian carbines. Will dig around and see if I can come up with a picture or the designation. --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] ([[User talk:Commando552|talk]]) 05:18, 19 February 2013 (EST) |

I'm pretty sure that's a real MP5 of some sort. And I think the chopped HK94s were something unique to American productions. --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:59, 18 February 2013 (EST)
That's what I thought too. But then I got confused by the firing position selector, with the security white sign on the upper right corner. But it could be the SEF pattern used on the earlier MP5. --Sebastian2A(talk)
- I changed it to a MP5A3. The gun has the barrel lugs of an MP5, and while you can't see the paddle mag release, you can see the pin for it. --Funkychinaman (talk) 21:26, 18 February 2013 (EST)
PAMAS G1
In the screenshot below, I don't think that the gun used in the movie is a Beretta 92FS. I think it's a PAMAS G1, as noted by the lack of a red dot on the safety. Any thoughts? --Mormonpowerranger521 00:37 MDT, 19 February 2013
- Wouldn't we be able to read the PA MAS script on the slide at this distance? --Funkychinaman (talk) 02:43, 19 February 2013 (EST)
Romanian Draco SBR Carbine
Great page, will check for that movie next time I'm in France! Suggestion; wouldn't the gun that is described as a Romanian Draco be more likely be a (former) East German Mpi-AKS-74NK, or at least inspired by it? The curvature of the magazine seems more consistent with a 5.45x39mm weapon, but the grips (plastic on the East German version) and indeed the muzzle end seem reworked.
Am interested to know what you guys think, --PeeWee055 (talk) 03:51, 19 February 2013 (EST)
